When I was growing up, Babe Ruth was the best baseball player ever, and there was no discussion and no question about that. No Pete Rose, no Willie Mays, no Mickey Mantle, no Bob Gibson, no Sandy Koufax even remotely challenged that.

Babe Ruth is now the second-best baseball player of all time. And just like when I was growing up, there's no discussion and no question.

I’d say that the Giants should go make him a big offer but I don’t know what position he’d play for yall since Devers and Chappy are set at the corners for the foreseeable future.

He did log 3 games in the outfield this season so that may remotely be an option but most likely he'll be a DH in MLB. I don't think his defense is particularly noteworthy at the hot corner anyway and certainly nobody is going to move Chappy off that position.

That was a beautiful half inning of baseball, both on the offensive end (for the Blue Jays) and on the defensive end (for the Dodgers). I'll happily settle with more of that the rest of the series!!!
