Mike James close to being back to Houston..

Toronto Sun - Reports from league sources indicate that Mike James is close to agreeing to terms with the Houston Rockets .

James is a resident of Houston and has indicated that the Rockets are his top choice.

The Rockets traded James to the Toronto Raptors before last season in exchange for Rafer Alston.

I'd say this was his best possibility and destination of all. Might pee off Mavs fans .

I suppose, although that same article (I think it was that one) also mentioned that he was being forced all the way down to the MLE. Its like the Chandler thing, when you see a guy who really really could help us dropping all the way down into a price range you can afford, really sucks to see him go elsewhere.

Going into this offseason if you had told me we could come out of it with Chandler and James, nobody else, and that it would only cost uis mayeb SAR, Cisco and our MLE, I would have been jumping up and down (+not believed you).

Think to the degree we can't get him its not money at all now, we're just not the prettiest belle at the ball in his (slightly strange) mind.

Yeah, but he'll get more time in Houston, even if he doesn't start. I think he could be the starter with Alston questionable and not having a good season with Houston. Plus his house and family are in Houston.
