Yes, yes, yes!!!!

Thank you, Sacramento Kings! This road trip ended up being a lot more fun than I ever thought possible!

And yes, I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

We should have gone 4-1, since Kings led Boston at the half. Or, if we'd sucked it up more we could have beat a depleted Washington team. Of course, according to Ron Artest it should have been 5-0! BIG SMILES ALL AROUND IN SACTOWN!:)

Big fun!!! I'm actually arranging my schedule to make sure I can watch these games. What a difference a year (and coach) makes.,

This team is definitely more fun to watch and is having more fun than last year.

WTG, guys!

I am really happy with the wins. And the passionate losses. I actually have not said this in a long time but.....

GO KINGS!

mmmmmmm. that felt good.

WAY TO GO REGGIE AND KINGS!!

What an impressive road trip.

What a difference 1 season makes.

Theus is for real.

This team is soooooooo much fun to watch. I enjoy them all. It is not about winning or losing (although I love the wins). It is totally about the difference in attitude, team play, and just all around good times for our guys.

Well, it's not like that bar was set that high...with the disaster known as the Musselhead Experiment.:D It's at least fun to watch games again this year, even if we are still only 11-14.

edit: Good job guys!:)

I agree. The team's attitude has changed, you can see it. There's more support for each other and game is more team-like and fun.

I can't wait till Kevin comes back and Mike. Hopefully it'll help the chemistry.

Back to back wins?....on the road?...with our starting back court out of action?.....are you kidding me?

Yeah, great job by the team !
I haven't been able to watch them much because they are rarely on and I have way too much college work that's taking my time, but I had the chance to watch them live 2 nights ago and I had a blast! Winter break starts tomorrow, I can not wait to be able to finally relax and just root for the KINGS! :D

I challenge any of the top teams in the West to play 5 games in 8 nights. 2 back to backs and the only sols game being the Celtics and coming away 3-2. Thats awesome.

Ok, tad much again.

Any of the top teams would likely be at LEAST 3-2 given that the three teams we beat are 10-15, 10-15 and 10-15. Wash at 14-12 might make it 4 of 5.

Solid accomplishment for us today as an 11-14 team ourselves. Three or four years ago we would have accepted/expected nothing less. About as close as you can get to road gimmes for a top team.

Well lets put that to a test Brick its easy to find out

Top teams when playing Boston on a road trip

Denver 2-2 lost their next road game 4 days later making it 2-3 over 5 games on the road.
Lakers 1-2

Thats about it. Boston hasn't played many good teams (hmmm).

The 2 back to backs with 1 night off in between is the hard part to me not just the Boston game.

A real nice road trip since they started it without a road win and then ended it the way they did. Team is playing hard. If they continue to shoot the 3 like they have lately they're going to win more than they lose but.............

I couldn't agree more. Boston = most overrated team in the NBA. Im not saying they are a bad team, they very shorty went from terrible to good. Elite? #1 in the league? I dont think so.

I prediced an 'upset' with the Sac/Boston game. I was grinning at the end of the 1/2 but obviously the Kings lost composure and crumbled in the end. I still think they had a good chance.

Of course, the next morning all my friends had a nice laugh at me.

Whew!

Wow, for a minute there I thought we were going to go an entire thread without someone doing the incredibly important job of reminding us all not to get too excited, since we haven't (a) won a championship yet or (b) started the downward spiral that will be necessary to get us a top pick in the draft.

And if people use the teaspoon or so of grey matter they have sloshing around above their neck, it is not necessary. However since thinking = evil maybe its for the best if others do it for you.

Rail on me as the designated driver if you must, but I'll still get you home in one piece.

Except that's not what Brick did. Not at all.

We accomplished far more than I suspect anyone, even the most ardent homer, might predict on this road trip. There IS something fun to watch in this team. It seems like there is a surprise each night. Salmons has a career high. Mikki has a career high. Beno shoots the lights out and he was a guy a couple teams didn't want. He's actually been a steady and very real point guard. Brad can jump (a little) but he seems to be the reincarnation of the Brad of a few years ago.

They're fun.
