McLemore early ROY Candidate?

I'm with TSA. Can I assume that threads will not be ended prematurely, subjects meticulously split to suit a mod's whims, etc. just because a few people don't take the subject matter seriously and it is TDOS? I have read "don't read it" if a thread is boring. Maybe those in power should do that very same thing. I suspect one thread could survive without moderation.
Well lets be honest then if were to stick to the scope of the OP and title we would either be laying down Tarot Cards, casting stones or chicken bones, if we were to stick to facts and empirical evidence we would be watching virtual tumble weeds roll through the thread. I thought I would inject a bit of levity to save the thread from it's self and a few other posters agreed that a discussion of TV entertainment was fun. But seriously is this any different than every thread becoming about the endless debate over trading Tyreke, or if the NEW front office knows what it is doing?

It is about time somebody courageous enough say something about these disrepectful moderators who moderate according to their whims.

Sometimes it is hard not to think the moderations are personal especially in this case, since I noticed section101 has numerous disagreements with these moderators.

Back to the topic, it will be a long shot for McLemore to win the ROY, simply because I don't think he will be used for longer periods of time. Thornton will be the rightful starter SG on this team on day one and I believe Thornton's value to this team will increase multiple times now that we don't have Tyreke. There is just no other better options in offense other than Cousins and Thornton.

i agree, he will probably be playing half the minutes per game that other rookies are playing

i wont be surprised if CJ McCollum wins, because he will probably put up a good statline

I'm not sure Americans are in love with "Agent Coulson" enough for him to have a spin-off show on his own. It's sad but this fall is filled with predictable and/or spin-offs, just like its Hollywood movie counterpart.

I'm hoping that there several cameos from heroes that weren't in The Avengers, but will be familiar to Marvel fans.

I think he will have some games that he scores enough to be run on ESPN highlights, the press loves him. Unfortunately, I think his lack of handles will really be evident once he is facing real NBA speed and talent, there are players who can turn the shaky dribbling into dunks on the other end. I hope I am wrong but it will take more than a few months to tighten the handles.
I do wonder how this team would look had Drummond or Lillard been selected last year.

Ray Allen is who he is often compared to and as a person who [has a father that is a former sacbee NBA reporter and former Kings season ticket holder that tells him everything] knows Ray Allen, I can tell you that he couldn't take more than 4 dribbles without loosing it. At the same time, he scored just outside the top-20 all-time in points. He was a slasher and (later) spot up shooter who could create a shot without a good handle or post game. That's what Mclemore is projected to be-not a ball-dominant scorer, just a guy who is extremely good at off-ball offense.
