I agree it opened up opportunities for our rookies that otherwise would have been less existent, but trading JV for scraps still makes me question Perry’s decision making.

Gotta remember that the only reason JV is playing in the NBA at all this year is because Denver threatened him with litigation if he left for his big Europe deal this summer
Okay, I knew there was talk of his returning to Europe but didn’t realise Denver had applied the thumbscrews.
Stuff like this gives me hope he can improve on the defensive end. If you're a Dragan Bender level wussy, you have no chance. Max has the fight and the want, he's just gotta keep working on his frame.

It's crazy how this relatively small amount of attitude from a rookie is noticeable. As much as I loved the beam team, they were very very soft (outside of a brief Trey Lyles losing his mind and choking Lopez moment).
