Oddly I do not see this game as an impossible win. Highly improbable yes. But over the years Rick has won a ton of games with people out, our crappy bench is crappy at least in part because its full of lottery team starters ratehr than dynamic bench guys + will now get a chance to shine, and all season long I have been saying thta Geoff screwed us over by putting together a team with too many scorers fighting over shots and not enough guys who do other things. Throw that all together, add in coming home + desperately neeeding to reestablish ourselves and there might be a chance here. Maybe the injuries actually help us sort out some roles. Maybe the remaining guys get all the shots they want. Maybe...

I think that KT will start for Peja tonight. Since we know he's a better starter and certainly a better rebounder than Peja, he could have a great game. Maybe he strings together a couple while Peja is out and then helps him pack his bags while lecturing him on how basketball players have to do more than shoot.

BUT, the eternal optimist in me can't help but hope I am wrong and we see a break-out game from the scrubs, the Bibby of old (as seen when paired with Webb, Dog, and Vlade), and the Brad that stood up to Shaq. IT COULD HAPPEN. Not probable, but always possible.
I hope that Arco is rocking like the Arco of old - from even BEFORE we were winners. Bring back the cowbells and get rid of the gold statues.
Let's get back to the basics and start fresh.
I'll keep believing all this is possible - even if we lose by 30. I can't help it. It's the way I'm built.
