[Game] Mavericks @ Kings - 1/10/13

One of the reasons I'm such a huge fan of IT is that he does in fact play bigger than he is - both in physicality and in emotion. --Much like Bobby from the back in the day.
 
Anyone else think the crowd is a little too quiet? I was expecting something approaching that Here We Stay game against the Clippers from two seasons ago (when it looked like the Kings were going to Anaheim) with chants and everything.

The Here We Stay game was a sellout. This one isn't anywhere near that, although it's at least a decent crowd. I don't think they're sitting quietly.

I guess I'm watching a different game. The crowd may be a little relaxed because the Kings have a decent lead but they're not dead quiet or uninvolved. I got a text from someone at the game who said it feels pretty good in there tonight.

In all honesty i don't think they any less quiet than usual. I pretty much agree with you.

We have the Heat coming to town on Saturday. It's conceivable that Evans will see limited action the rest of this game, especially if he's not needed, to keep a little more in the tank for Saturday.
 
The Mavericks are looking winded. Lots of their shots are hitting off the front of the rim. If we keep rotating in fresh legs, the Mavs are cooked.
 
Nice dish by Evans, topped off by Garcia actually hitting the water from the boat. :)

I feel like that would be bad for T-Robs development. He's already under the pressure of being a top 5 pick. Putting him in a starting position might compound that pressure. Plus, I don't really think of JT as a scoring PF. He's a perfect compliment next to a dominant center like Cuz, or at least what Cuz will be.
 
I'd like to see Smart show some confidence in Robinson here and reward his big second quarter.
 
What exactly fixed the Kings over the last few weeks? The offense is night and day from what it was a few weeks ago. Is it Cousins starting to pass the ball more often? Keith Smarts rotations getting better? The Maloofs telling the team they can stop tanking now in order to increase team value?
