What exactly fixed the Kings over the last few weeks? The offense is night and day from what it was a few weeks ago. Is it Cousins starting to pass the ball more often? Keith Smarts rotations getting better? The Maloofs telling the team they can stop tanking now in order to increase team value?

All of the above+motion offense. If you look closely, we're actually running half-court sets now where we got guys running all over the floor. There's very little of the 1on1 with 4 guys standing and watching type of sets that happen anymore

I think Cousins' last suspension was an eye-opener for him. I suspect he had some long talks with his teammates that we will never hear about. I'm seeing confidence among the players that simply wasn't there before.

And, at the risk of sounding catty, I think having Thornton out of the lineup has helped the rest of the team to develop some cohesiveness. But that's a topic for a different thread, I suppose.

Probably, though i think it has less to do with Thornton than it does the better rotations that resulted from it.
