Marty Mac on current state of the Kings..

Haha, Melo wanted to beat up Omri. His defense isnt all there yet, but Omri can sure get under people's skins.

As a lone voice in saying the Kings are s l o w l y improving each game, Marty's view kinda supports that. And the ESPN Power Rankings of this past monday have the Kings moving up from 30 to 27, and thats before the win over the Nuggets. Slow progress but progress none-the-less. Plus 3 of the 6 road games coming up on this trip are against teams ranked 25th and below in the power rankings. Good chance for 3 and 3 but 2 and 4 would be ok. Casspi will never back down and his defense can get under thin skinned stars and betcha DMC is there to back him up in a second. Gotta love that stuff.

Cousins was upset with Melo? I must have missed that, did Cuz say something about Melo?

If you watched the game, in I believe the 4th quarter when Cousins was going to the freethrow line he walked toward the Nuggets bench and had words with Melo. They didn't show Melo, but the announcers commented on it. And Cousins didn't look happy while saying whatever he said. I'm guessing that he might have been sticking up for his teammate..

By the way. I don't know about the rest of you, but if I was a teammate of Melo's and he was smiling like he was on a picnic while my team was getting its butt kicked, I would be upset. Its the Nuggets, so I really don't care. But didn't it bother anyone else to see him look like he was just having a good time even though his team was losing?

Thanks. I didn't see that. I was at the game, so I was probably distracted by the people next to me or something. That's good to know, I love the chemistry these guys have.

Anthony has always been like that - smiling like he could care less what situtation is on the court. Of course, Magic, Zeke and a few others have done the same but somehow with Melo it seems more mocking or just silly. Maybe more telling is that his sister (36 year old mother of 4) just passed away just two weeks ago but with Melo smiling away endlessly you'd never know it.

It’s great to see Demarcus stand up for Omri. Anybody have a clip of that moment? I wish you could see some of these Nationally Televised games on On Demand.

Let me assure you, it sure as heck bothered me. I see it as disrespect for the game, the opponent, his team, and me as an observer. I don't like it and he was in that mode much of the game that I saw.

We need to add another all-star type of talent on this team through this years draft and we should be golden.

Melo is a punk, and in my mind extremely overrated.

We all know by now Cousins whines a lot, same as JT the last 2 seasons, maybe it will pass, or maybe he will just have that Brad Miller attitude for the rest of his career.

I like the play ive been seeing from the Kings as of late, lets just hope they can keep it up, i wanna see this team play at the level i know they can, and shut up some of the haters around the league.
