It's amazing how a great finish can boost your spirits.
Kevin Martin's "volleyball" tap of the inbound pass into the basket followed in good order by his last second off-balance shot to put the dagger into the heart of Sonics fans may not have been the icing on the cake of a great Kings win, but it was certainly fun.
Meanwhile, rumors are floating all over about the ticking and Ron Artest. And yes, I firmly believe - and always have - that where there's smoke, there's fire (to mix metaphors a bit). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Mr. Artest is traded before things spiral totally out of control.
The Kings face the Bobcats next and Gerald Wallace returns to Arco. I've never been one who really thought his departure was that much of a loss especially considering how little time he would actually have seen here. Having said that, though, I do applaud him for making the most of his new start in Charlotte.
