No one called Shaq a "flopper" just of an incident of "flopping" and if he can't tell the difference (or more importantly choosing not to) then that's on him.
 
Had Andrew Bynum not broken Gerald a rib and collapsed his bloody lung, I believe that this scenario could have occured a while earlier. Kind of a standard Larry Brown pattern, if you ask me. Start coaching a team, realise that most of your players don't fit your plan, trade all of them, preferably for veterans, see your team getting what you want to do, profit. The team, as it is now assembled, looks quite interesting (with the exception of Radmanovich, who should have stayed on the Lakers). They won't get anywhere soon, don't really have any strong assets, or hope for the future, but they may still win a few games here and there.
 
In case I wasn't clear I was referring to the not helping Wade up incident. Wade didn't seem to mind, he said so himself that Shaq was being dramatic. The only reason this even seems like a big deal is because they won a championship together and are pretty good buds. If Shaq knocked say Beno Udrih down and didn't help him up no one would care at all.

You're crazy. Won't get anywhere soon? As long as they can retain Brown as their coach, they have a chance to go a lot farther than I'm betting you think they can. They don't have depth worth anything, but their top six can compete with any team in the league, and the only one out of that group who's older than twenty-six is Bell, who happens to play at the most expendable position in basketball, so I think they'll be alright.

What Charlotte needs to do, for starters, is accept the fact that, no matter how much actual skill he might have, Sean May is never going to be in good enough shape to compete on an NBA level, and replace him at that that backup PF spot. I'd like to see what Ajinca can do with another year of development, and Diop is probably an acceptable stopgap until they find out whether or not he's an NBA player... as long as they don't accept Diop to score, or anything.

I think you're dead wrong about Charlotte not having a future: if we suppose, for the sake of argument, that none of the big names change locations over the next two off-seasons, I could see Charlotte being the third or fourth-best team in the east, five years from now.

Yeah, I should have phrased that differently. How about: "I don't see them winning a championship with that team, but a few playoff experiences are in order. Although they will not have home court advantage in those.".

For me, it would be a bit frustrating to be their, since I see their future in a 'too good to have a solid argument for rebuilding, too bad too actually win a championship' conundrum.

Yeah I watched most of that game. Wade is probably my favorite player, he was awesome as usual. However, he missed 2 FTs late in the first OT, n missed an easy layup (for him) as time expired that nearly cost them the game, and probably should have. I know he hit a big 3 in regulation and obviously the winner, just pointing that out to anyone who didn't watch the game
 
Wanna hear something funny? The 15-49 Washington Wizards (who we're currently duking it out with for the worst record in the NBA) are not mathematically eliminated from playoff contention in the Eastern conference. If the Bulls lose four of their last 18 games (conceivable), and the Wizards win 14 of their last 18 games (not as conceivable), both teams would finish with identical 29-53 records, and depending on the other records in the conference, they could be tied for the 8th best record.
 
You know, I dislike high scoring game as a matter of principle, and this takes the cake... And how the hell do you score a hundred and thirty points and lose by twenty-five? That's ****ing unprecedented.
 
Lets go Clippers! Up two with 1:30 left... Although, the only reason it is this close is because the Nets just went on an 11-0 run.
