I wasn't thinking. :o

I had it in mind for some reason that the Rockets had to finish pretty high for us to get their pick in the first place.

Yeah! And, since we only want them to make the playoffs, and no more, they need to start losing some games. Hey, RA, heck of a way to get back at the Kings. Now, cut it out. :p

I think it is lotto protected. While there's only 4 games between the 2 and 8 seeds right now it looks like Phoenix is slowly falling out of the race. So it might be time for Houston to start dropping a few :)

Rockets dropped a spot tonight. As usual, they got manhandled by the tougher and smarter Jazz. Man, that was one embarrassing display by Houston! I still can't figure out what the heck Artest was trying to do.

OMG! You've spent time trying to figure out Ron Artest? Are you crazy? ;)

What do Kevin Durant, Emeka Okafor and Mike Miller have in common... that they do not have in common with Brandon Roy, LeBron James and Pau Gasol?

Only thing I can think of is that the first 3 are on losing teams, that's the only thing I can think of. I'm stumped.

Kevin Durant, Emeka Okafor and Mike Miller are the only active players in the league to have been Rookie of the Year that have never played in an All-Star game.

I remember a bunch of analysts dickvitaling about Orlando taking Dwight over Emeka, including Dick Vitale.

Mike was from that horrid 2000 class. You know something is amiss somewhere when Miller wins any major award.

Thunder Sign Livingston to Multi-year deal

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed guard Shaun Livingston to a multi-year deal, Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.
Livingston, 23, is being called-up from the NBA Developmental League’s Tulsa 66ers, where he averaged 9.5 points, 6.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 29.4 minutes in 11 games (10 starts). At the time of his call-up, the 6’7’’ guard ranked seventh in the D-League in assists (6.0). He scored a season-high 22 points on March 27 at Rio Grande Valley Vipers and dished out a season-best 11 assists against Iowa Energy on March 12.
Originally selected by the L.A. Clippers in the first round of the 2004 NBA Draft (#4 overall), he has appeared in 149 NBA games with L.A. Clippers and Miami. The Peoria, Illinois native owns career averages of 7.3 points, 4.7 assists, 3.1 rebounds in 26.8 minutes per contest.

Yeah me too. It's a questionable move at this point though. He's already tried a comeback n failed. Not sure why they just didn't sign him for the rest of the season to see how he pans out

miami and memphis shouldnt count. he hadnt played all in almost 2 years and was still young when he went down. iwth the rest of this season and the coming offseason he should be fine going into next season.

Still, it's a risky move signing him to a multi-year deal, even if you forget about the comeback attempt. But I guess if he comes cheap it could be worth it

I would just like to know how he looks. I mean Miami, whose best pg option is Chalmers, got rid of him so that does not instill confidence.
