Nah, **** Malone, tbh. I get we did him dirty, but that dude's held a decade long grudge at this point.

Also, just extremely overrated. If he doesn't walk into an eventual top 10 player of all-time, he doesn't have near the success he's had.

I think he's a good coach for sure. I don't consider him even close to the Spo/Pop tier of elite coaches though. He's a good coach that was gifted one of the best offensive players we've ever seen.

For better or worse, it seems like San Antonio is happy with Mitch Johnson until/if Pop recovers enough to coach again (big ask for an octogenarian)

I’m guessing Jenkins is the front runner for that Spurs job but yeh it might come down to him or Malone

I won’t put him all the way up there either. Probably in a tier that lives between good and The Elite.
