luther head waived

Since you have better access to it then I do, any news on Holden? I'm praying his leg isn't broken. Man I hate Man U.
No official news on his leg; looked like a very deep gash on TV. The official news on this stuff usually surfaces in the morning; if he is injured long term our season is over frankly, he'll definitely be out for a fortnight at least. I've only just started talking after the defeat; Gutted doesn't even come close! Typical Old Trafford performance.

Foxsports said he needed 26 stitches. But still no news on a break or not. Keep your fingers crossed.

I wonder if we've got our eyes on a 10-day contract for somebody. Otherwise, why dump him when it doesn't even save us any money? With Evans still out, it leaves us with 11 players and just Beno and Jeter at the point. Of course, even then it would have made more sense to request waivers on Daniels - he's not only injured for the season but I haven't even heard of him reporting. Not to defend Head, but at least he's a body that can play - what's the advantage of cutting him?

A move that comes, oh, about 5 months late, but a welcome move nonetheless. Wish we could go back and retroactively remove all the damage my eyes suffered from watching this guy jack up stupid shot after stupid shot over those 5 months.

Let me guess: tomorrow they fire Westphal and move Elie up to the post, to continue the better-late-than-never train.

Ruffling Westy's feathers? He has (now) reportedly been unhappy with his role for a while.

It seems the only way Petrie can keep Westphal from playing players that have no future with the team, is to cut them from the team. I suspect the only way you could get Westphal to decide on a nine man rotation, would be to only have nine players on the team.
