Papagannis hasn't been with kings in quite some time. 15x all star? i just hope he one day averages 15ppg

Not sure if Doncic has that gunner mentality that Pistol Pete had though.

Kurucs intrigues me, but his inability to get any PT at Barcelona concerns me. The competition he faces for Barcelona II is worse competition than the top tier colleges. With that in mind, he still didn't standout. I'm ok with him as a 2nd round pick. Low-risk type of player in the 2nd.

Not because of his failure, but because of his so called ''passion'' for NT, in Europe if players say no to National teams it's a big deal, like really big deal, but it was just the beginning because those were the junior national teams to who he said no for like 2-3 years in a row.

The breaking point was not last year where his idiot agent said to him to withdraw his name from the draft even tho he was a likely late 1st round pick, everybody knew he will not get playing time in Barcelona and he was so injury prone at the time, why would his agent withdraw his name, here is the aftermath Latvians see clearly.... likely a 2nd round draft pick, with no chances at going in the 1st round, because of his agent.

The breaking point was now when the National team games was going on to qualify for the World Championship and the newly appointed coach included him in the squad, even tho there was a lot of better options. What happened there, why fans and people who are close to basketball are so angry? We have very important game, Kurucs is in the starting lineup and makes like 3 turnovers in a row, the opposite team goes on a run in the first minutes, Latvian guys can't come back and they lose very important game, after the game there was news circulating around media that there was a NBA scouts in that game to watch him and head coach agreed with Kurucs agent to showcase his skills and put him in the starting lineup... everybody was furious here.

After all those years when he said no to National team, now he gets invite and even a starting lineup spot? kidding me.

That's why everybody is angry here. :D

Doncic and Real Madrid won todays game 98-91. Series tied 1-1.

Luka Box score: 11 pts (5/7 shooting, 0/2 from 3s, 1/2 FTs) 4 reb, 2 assist.

Looks like Luka has one last game of Euro Basketball on Sunday for the Championship (again). :)

Next stop the Sacramento Kings?!?! ;)

He’s been missing 3s and FTs lately. I watched the game he definitely has elite handles for a 6’8 guy and has the stop and go game ala James harden.

Series is tied 1-1 I don’t belive it’s best of 3 I don’t think he’ll be in the USA on draft night if it went for length. Saw that somewhere

Your right. It looks like a best of 5 series. If the series goes 4 games, the last game is June 19th.

If it goes to Game 5, that is on June 22nd, the draft is June 21st.

All the more reason for Luka to win the next two and be in the U.S. for draft night! ;)

I wonder if they can live simulcast Luka via satellite from Spain, when the Kings pick him #2 overall? ;)

But some scouts believe Doncic's best position is point guard, and that could present a problem. The Kings invested the fifth overall pick last year in point guard De'Aaron Fox, and some think it would be counterproductive to Fox's development to bring in a player who would take the ball out of his hands.

"I don't think they can take the keys to the car from Fox, or shouldn't," said one Western Conference scout who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

So, that’s kind of the thing that squares the disparate information we have been receiving. Why look at MPJ at 2? Why meet with Carter tomorrow? These are guys that should be had between 6-8. Bagley vs Doncic at 2? Sure, reasonable debate. But MPJ and Carter? Come on, man. And why not JJJ or Bamba? Neither of those guys last beyond 5.

Well, what if the FO agrees that Doncic should be running the show? What if they are debating trading Fox to Orlando, Chicago, or Cleveland? There have been some weird rumors about shopping Fox? What if they’re true?

I love Fox. Love the guy. He’s never going to run a team the way Doncic does. He’s going to be really good, but Doncic is a maestro...he pulls all the strings. You give me Porter with Doncic getting him open looks—now we’re in business. Porter trying to iso with the squad we have now...hard pass.
