I again want to know the details of that out clause. It was reported earlier in the free agency period that it was some sor to of one time thing. Return to the NBA within 30 days of the lockout ending, or forever hold your peace and play out your full 3yr deal in Russsia, which would pretty much ruin any chance of returning to the NBA. If it was that draconian, that always opened up the possibility he comes back jsut because otherwise his NBa career is pretty much over.
If on the other hand it jsut says retunr to the NBA within 30 days or you have to jsut stay the season, as in just this year, then I could easily see him living the Russian dream this year and then trying to make a comeback as a FA next summer. Perhaps,. for instance, after the Nets sign Dwight as a free agent and are looking for the perfect SF complement.
Still, while this has gone on too long to feel any real hope, if Jersey is out of it and its just between us and Russia, especially if Russia means end of his NBA career, I guess there is always a chance if we move the numbers enough.
