Looking ahead/ A year ahead

I happened to be checking out NBADraft.net to look at some of the draft prospects for next year. One of the top 3 big men is Cole Aldrich 6-10 center from Kansas. I clicked on his name and there was no info, but there was a Youtube clip of the Washington- Kansas game last year. Most of it showed Aldrich completely abusing Brockman in the paint. when Brockman comes up against established NBA players it doesn't bode well for him. I hope I'm wrong.:(

If Brockman is on the team it will be so he can bang and toughen up our guys in practice. He has to set the energy tone in practice and if he does that, I think he could be very useful to the team.

I'm not too worried about the future of Brockman to be honest. A second round pick shouldn't cause anyone to worry. I expect the last time we see him to be in training camp at the latest

yeah, dont lose any sleep wondering if an undersized PF that was a 2nd round pick is going to pan out. they usually dont. if he does its just a bonus.

Brockman's the type of 2nd round pick that sticks. A la Craig Smith, Paul Millsap, even Leon Powe and Glen Davis.

Undersized, BRUISERS that can rebound and defend tend to fill a role nicely and become productive NBA players. That's the mold of Brockma
