Long wait may be over :)

i know this sounds ridiculous but it sucks that his PPG/RPG numbers will take a major hit if he's really only going to play like 10 or 15 minutes.

not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things but to people that don't pay attention and just look at numbers, it could really hurt his All-Star bid

And DMC being an All-Star is one of the few happy possibilities left in this season

I really doubt if people voting for all-stars don't know who DMC is. I also doubt if they're voting based on numbers. They're voting based on team loyalty, player loyalty or player recognition.

i'm more talking about the coaches. He won't be voted a starter, that will end up being Davis and Griffin, so we gotta rely on coaches to vote him in

Minute restriction? He wouldn't be the first guy coming back to ease into things.

I'm not talking about his minutes being restricted. I just don't think he'll sit on the bench while someone else starts. They'll put him in at the beginning and gauge his performance, while he's still warm from warmups IMHO.

Okay, stop right there. You're gonna try and tell me there's a coach in the NBA who doesn't really know who DMC is or his current status and will just be judging him by some numbers on a page? Seriously???? Dude...

We all know when All-Stars are being selected, the top criteria are personal numbers and the teams record. With so many good teams and good players in the West, DMC is NOT a lock. you got guys like Marc Gasol playing on great teams and being considered MVP candidates.

We all know what has happened to the Kings winning record, so DMC needs to keep his numbers up in the amazing range so he has a shot

Honestly, coaches vote a lot like fans.

And right now, the Sacramento Kings went from respectable to a national punchline in an instant. That's stuff matters when it comes to making all star teams. The Kings arent a franchise anyone is going to think deserves to be represented. They were heading that way and BOOM!

It will be sore to a certain extent all year. He needs a prolonged period to heal. He had no summer to take off last summer. Hopefully next summer he can take it easy for 6 weeks or so.
He should have just taken a couple weeks off while Cousins was sick
