Do you always think your neighbor’s grass is greener than your grass?
I think Young has terrific Curry-esque potential. But he hasn’t shown he can handle tall defenders at the basket and he hasn’t shown that he’s interested in playing defense. I certainly wouldn’t take him before taking one of the Bridges.

When our grass has been the eyesore of the neighborhood the last decade +, brown and full of weeds, then yes, grass looks heck of a lot better in the neighbors yards

If we have a chance to get Trae Young then Fox becomes expendable IMHO... At least in my eyes.. But if we don't get Young then I am fine with seeing what Fox has the next couple years.

I would be in favor of this move as i also agree with your sentiment with Young. I absolutely love his game and think he has MVP potential. I like Fox, but out of the 2 id far prefer Young. That said, i would want to flip Fox for Isaac on the Magic, Jackson from Phx, or at least one of the Bridges....or perhaps in a deal for Porter from the Wiz...in Short id love to pick Young and trade Fox for a promising young SF.

But i think this will be a irrelevant as i will be shocked if Young lasted to 7th (assuming we dont move up)
