Is there a way to watch all Kings games other then by getting a cable/direct TV/etc subscription?

I would pay for League Pass but the games will be blacked out due to the fact that I live in Elk Grove.

I don't mind paying for it, just don't want to pay $40+ a month for TV when the only thing I would watch would be the Kings games.

Find a friend with cable/subscription. Get cozy at a local sports bar. Go to the games. Or get a cable/satellite subscription. That's pretty much it.

The broadband blackout regions are determined by IP address so you can't get around them (certainly not legally) unless you wanted to travel outside of the blackout region for every game.

But look at it this way - it's $27/month for League Pass broadband. If you can find basic cable for $40, then an extra $13/month (~$78 total) gets you all the games plus you can watch other TV you don't even want! The blackout rules suck, but I guess that's the way it goes.

I live in Israel and do the same. It's just great starting the day watching last night's game. As long as I don't know the score, it's like watching the game live. And if I don't get up early enough I can just watch the 4th quarter.

I guess the OP can get League Pass and wait until after the blackout is removed, either late at night or the next morning.

It doesn't show any locally broadcast games on kings.com. Does that mean there is NOT going to be any of them locally broadcast? I wouldn't think they would black them out in that case.

In recent years all games have been locally broadcast, most on CSN and a few on ESPN/TNT. I'd be pretty confident that all games will be locally broadcast this year, but with the Maloofs, you never know. "We stopped showing the games on TV. We can't understand why our revenues are going down!"

Prog's suggestion waiting for the blackout period to end is interesting. I didn't know they did that, but if so it's another sub-optimal solution.

Well, I guess somebody's got to pay those average NBA salaries of around $6M (highest among major sports) with league attendance flat of late due to work stopage and weak economy.
