Lebron puts up 2nd triple double this week

#1
3 days after achieving his first career triple-double, he puts up another one against Golden State with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Think he was motivated at all? ;)

Somehow, I think he's going to be doing this A LOT more in the future. You know, like every game? Not in the near future, but he has about a decade before he is even considered in his prime, so it looks good.

Not EVERY game.

Remember, in between those two games he ran into the Kings and Pedja, who really did a superlative job of making sure he didn't have any more fun this time in Sacramento than he did in his debut to the NBA. Maybe Arco will just be his Waterloo.

The guy posted his 2nd triple double, but had alot of games where he *just* missed out on one.

i.e.

Nov 21 Knicks 13-9-10
Dec 02 Nuggets 17-8-9
Dec 15 Tblazers 25-11-7
Dec 22 Nets 23-9-9
Dec 26 Hornets 22-9-14
Jan 11 Bobcats 29-8-9
Jan 13 Lakers 28-13-9

Given the rate he's improving at, it might be closer than you think (to getting alot more triple doubles. Every game might be a bit of a stretch ;))...

Ha, I was thinking this very thing while reading the thread title! It would make me feel MUCH better if LeBron could please refrain from putting up triple-doubles against my Kings, since I root for LeBron every friggin' other time he plays!

Oops, did I say friggin'? Oh well, it is Saturday night. :p

I seem to recall LeBron's debut against us last year was anything but a Waterloo for him. ;)

Anyway, nice to be the team to step in between the triple doubles and make him look mortal, although to be fair he really did look tired out there against us -- just had none of the normal bounce he has in his step.

but as someone as Lebron, who is building his stature as a professional and role model, should try giving back to the fans ..
I no Lebron fan, but from what I have seen he has done a decent job. I think you may have caught him on an off night, or you are reading into things.

He had just been blown out + was unhappy about it -- I'm GLAD he wasn't running around high fiving people.

Every year, right around All-Star time, players kick it up a nocth. Look at Webb.
If you're suggesting that Lebron is kicking up his game in order to be voted into the All-Star game, I don't think so. I doubt he really needs to do any convincing to get the fans to vote for him. Yao and Vince know that. The difference is that Lebron actually deserves to be an All-Star.
