They're a good team, but probably just another playoff team in the West. Good enough to beat us, but we're clearly the better squad. The real benchmark game will be the one after that.
 
Benchmark Game ... probably cause I expect improvement in EVERY GAME

I'm gonna find it interesting to see what Adelman does about match-ups.

Is he gonna double-team a player or the ball ... try THE ZONE again ... try to slow-down the game and make it half-court game ???

We all know LeBron is gonna get his points ... Gooden & C-Webb are gonna have a game of position ... and Miller has got to play big underneath.

Our shots have got to fall-in and we've got to watch our TO's. Lately, some of our TO's have been LAZY PASSES - STUPID PASSES - FORCING PASSES
 
the cavs only beat us in the 2 gaurd spot with lebron. we are better across the board, with center possibly being considered a wash.

kings should win this game. the cavs are having a better year then they did last year, but it is in the east, so take that with a grain of salt.

But, I'll gladly heed your advice over a "slab of ribs".

I'm with ya ... King's should win this game, but that's why they play. I don't put much weight in this East and West stuff. Whenever one underestimates their opponents (no matter who they are) ... they're setting themelves up.

King's should have a good practice today ... I believe it'll be the first one since Mobley's arrival.
 
Yeah, and they should have beaten the Hornets too. But, that is why they play the games. If the Kings come out and turn the ball over, don't rebound and miss shots then they will lose. The same thing they did against the Hornets. One thing they must do from now on is REBOUND better. Portland out rebounded them last night 55-39. That is totally unexceptable. :(
 
If I were Adelmen, Id play a zone. Cleveland isnt that great of a shooting team, we know Peja cant guard Lebron, so I think a zone would be best for this game. Also, we cant let them get too much of an advantage on the boards. If we rebound well, and our shots fall we should win this game.
 
Unless they recently made a change, Lebron is playing the 3 this year. I think they have Ira Newbie at the 2-guard position and McInnis at the point.
