Latrell Sprewell.

The man can't get a break! The poor guy is still trying to feed his family, and has even gone as far as lowering him price from the "laughable" 7 million dollar/year offer all the way down to 4-5 million dollars/year.

Unfortunatly, it doesn't seem like anyone is going to bite on this generous move on Mr. Spreewell's part.

:D

Oh, at that bargain basement price all the GM's in the league should be lining up. Just ask Latrell. :p

There are worse contracts out there than Sprewell for 4 million. I wouldn't quarrel with picking him up for that price.

I would. It's not just about the contract price...

Well... what is it about then? Keeping the status quo off the bench at shooting guard?

Sure Latrell may not be the "character guy" that Kevin Martin is, but it seems the Kings could use a proven scoring weapon off the bench.

And Sprewell hasn't choked a coach in years.

It's about character. You have your standards and I have mine and, as far as at least Sprewell is concerned, we apparently differ. Sorry, but I would not bring Latrell Sprewell to the Kings.

P.S. It's also about the Pippi Longstocking look. We already have the gold lamé. You have to draw the line somewhere.

;)
