There's a town in California named Gilroy that has a Garlic Festival. They show people eating the garlic ice cream and a lot of other goodies on the news. They have a special "garlic" cookbook they put out every year. I keep telling myself I'll get it. Maybe this year I actually will...

I took a crockpot clam chowder recipe and turned it into a garlic chowder recipe by adding garlic...lots of garlic. You could always take out the clams if you don't eat them.

We're gearing up for our annual "Garlic Festival" trip now......Most of the food is great. The Garlic ice cream did nothing for me.

Woooooo....It's a week long feeding frenzy....Can't wait!
