Last 5 Games of January - Predictions

Were almost done with a succesfull month. We are currently 9-2 this month and have 5 games left.

Tonight vs SA

25th vs NJ

27th at SA (on TNT)

28th at Hou (on ESPN2)

30th at Min

I preddict we will go 4-1 and lose to SA on the 27th.

It would be nice going 13-3 for the month.

What do you all think?

you know, there is an obvious opportunity for us to go as low as 2-3 in those games (SA x2 and Wolves on road). But every game better than that makes a statement of some kind. Beating the Wolves would be really nice just to restore the pecking order in that matchup. And even one win over the Spurs guarantees a season split with them. Two over them makes a REAL statement, as in "we just got done beating you three times in a month -- look forward to seeing you come May" sort of statement.

All i know is if Webber keeps playing like he has been and the rest follow suit. We have no problem at 5-0. If Webber keeps it up i will repost the thread i started about the Cat making Chris a better PF. because all great PF have a SG that scores and takes some load off. So yes he is not only 1 of the top 10 PF but i would say top 5

Sorry, but this makes absolutely no sense to me. Never realized that Kings had a problem in scoring before Mobley arrived. Cat is not making CW better. It is the other way around. Webber is playing better because he is healthier.

Going 5-0 would most definitely be GREAT.... However, I am trying to be more realistic and therefore am expecting them to go 3-2...... If they do better than that I'd be more than happy. But I have a bad feeling that they might have tough time on the road vs. SA and MIN (even though Minny is not 100% I know they will be right on the target when it comes to the game against Kings). Mind you, I would LOVE to see them beat Minny.....

I hate to speculate on these games because I am so hyped-up already. The Kings, if they played to their amazing ability, could take all five games. It would be one of the biggest stories of the NBA season to-date. The Kings could lose 3 or 4 games easily simply by relaxing a bit, or by having a few players have bad games. If Webber or Bibby choke on a game or two, we lose some games. I fully expect Brad to choke a few games. If he played to his ability on a consistent basis, they would probably win all five. Remember the old days?

The Kings may catch one or two of these teams off guard, probably San Antonio tonight. However, I fully expect, and would bet money, that the bloody Timberwolves will have multiple out-of-body experiences and beat the Kings with outrageous buzzer-beater threes and such. They don't deserve to win, but they seem to have the Kings' number this year. What a friggin curse.

If someone made me bet money on the outcome of these games, I would say that the Kings will win 3 of 5. I think 5 of 5 is possible.

I think the Kings need to change the nature of their basic approach to playing the Timberwolves. Do something radically different. maybe the Kings should "go Medieval" on them just to modify the horrible status quo.

The Kings SHOULD beat Minny because T-Woves are not feeling it right now. They are 1 game over 500. Latrell is barely getting any minutes. Also Sam I thiknk is still injured, I might be mistaken.

One game at a time. The Kings CAN win any of those game and are certinaly inspired lately. Today is big enough for me to not worry about tommorow. Suns and sonics both play so it could be a real opertunity if one or both of them drop a game.

i'm all for the one game at a time thing. but to answer the thread topic raised, i wouldn't mind if they go 3-2 in these 5 games remaining for the month. Of course, 5-0 would sure be sweet & possible if they keep playing the way they've been playing as of late. the bench has been always been a big surprise for other teams who have been somewhat accustomed to playing us then killing us in the end game.

With the way things have been going for Minny lately, we should be able to beat them on the road. But it could well also be a wake-up call for them should they win that game--to get them back on track.

Go KINGS!!!!
