Larry Brown Fired!!!! Isiah takes over....

After the Isiah experiment, do you think Adelman would consider coaching the Knicks? I'm not sure I would wish that on RA, but it might actually work.

Adelman had mentioned that he'd like to get into a "good situation" now, he'd probably be paid a lot of money to work in New York, so that's a good thing, but I think he's looking more along the lines of a team that doesn't suck.

As for the train wreck, the Knicks were the worst team with the highest payroll in the NBA. That makes me feel warm inside, but Zeke can't do worse than Brown.

That's an interesting possibility that I somehow had not even considered. ABout as far from a "good situation" as you can get in the NBA right now, and there's not an ounce of New York in Adelman, but the money would be big, along with the spotlight, and if nothing else you know that you will never lose a FA due to money concerns.

Thing is that Zeke has announced himself as the replacement coach, as expected. Adn he's going to have to give it a go first. Its widely considered his last gasp opportunity both wiht the Knicks, and likely ever in the league unless he can smooth talk his way in someplace else. He coaches the team he assembled. If he fails, he's out as a coach AND a GM. THEN maybe Rick could get a phone call. Of course if that happens, which it may very well, Dolan will be on the hook for $40 mil that his slimy little thief of an ex coach is "owed", as well as however many million that Zeke will be "owed", and so would he really want to immediately open up the coffers again for another high profile guy like Rick?
