Thanks Bobby for Your effort tonight ! Not

you fault that Your teammates have no PRIDE and no HEART.

Our leading rebounder and Scorer is BJax for crying out loud!!!

An absolutely disgusting display by our front line against the Evil Empire.

Songaila and Jackson deserved to be on the court the whole game tonight.
The rest ... well, no comment. Especially on defensive end.

You guys take single games to heart! The Lakers played great tonight no question. All their plays and defensive sequences were tailored and executed perfectly. The Kings, on the other hand, simply didn't have anything going for them. It was JUST one of those nights like L. James had. And it was JUST one of those "L. Odom Basketball" nights along with some of their bench guys who scored more than they usually do. The truth is the Lakers are inconsistent. T. J. made the Lakers do their homework on SAC and they got an A. That's all it is!

I do not care about playing bad. It happenes.

However - no excuses whatsoever for no pride, no effort, no heart.

Do they get paid for this game? (rethorical question)

I just got back in town and didn't get to see the game. I don't mean to rub it in or anything but this win by the Lakers is really something to be proud of if you're a die hard Lakers fan. Winning against a quality opponent in their homecourt will only do their confidence good. The Lakers showed some heart. Did the Kings underestimate the Lakers?

Did the Kings underestimate the Lakers? No. They over-estimated themselves and didn't play their game. We had tough matchups with Odom and Mihm and didn't take advantage, IMHO, of Darius and Tag the way we should have. If you look at the box score, it should tell a pretty interesting story. Darius was our high rebounder, Chris and Bobby tied for high score, Bibby - our PG - had two assists, etc. Nothing looked right.

Having said all that, we could have remained competitve IF we had instituted the old "You have to pass three times before you shoot" concept. The one-touch and shoot bug hit and that usually spells our doom. Tonight was no exception. Doug did a good job of guarding Kobe, but KB was able to pass out to the perimeter to guys who were sinking everything.

It was your night. Next time, who knows?

;)
