KOZ Thank you thread

A sad day Koz. We enjoyed you 100% down here and looked forward to the pre and post game shows (even when Kayte wasn't there!!!!). We will miss you :( and wish you the best of luck.

CD and Mrs. CD

Actually, I think Grant was much better by himself. He did the show for years without help. Mike tends to go on and on about things to the point I just want to turn off the radio. You either love Grant or you hate him. Personally, I'm one of those that likes him. I like a no nonsense type that calls out BS when he hears it. As I said before, its just a matter of taste.
I agree. Mike Lamb ruined that 4 o'clock show for me. I rarely ever listen to it now. Back in the day Grant by himself was great. Sure he wasn't liked by everyone but then or now but Mike Lamb is terrible imo.

I've also met Koz a few times, bought him a beer even. Great, very funny guy. I was irked recently that khtk was cutting him out and now this.

I believe he's originally from Chicago btw..

Thanks Koz!!!!

Wow, the Kings just let one of the better personalities in all of sports slip away, oh well their loss, they'll regret this one. :(

I never cease to be fascinated by the psychology of sports: only in sports and politics are people so cavalier about other peoples' jobs and livelihoods...

well, in this case it isn't the other people's "jobs and livelihoods" that people are so cavalier about... it is the service that those individuals are providing to the people.

but yes. it is easy to lose sight of the fact tht there is a real person (with a job and livelihood) behind a public persona.

Your avatar is great. Gashlycrumb Tinies?

I was more entertained by Koz and Kayte last year than the Kings games. They had great chemistry and my wife and I enjoyed them a lot. It's very dissapointing that the Maloofs let him go. With this kind of move by the Maloofs, it's hard for me to believe that they will be spending their money on a FA this year.

Yes :)

Although I have to work hard to limit my first grade daughter's interest in my Edward Gorey books!

--- She did make a presentation to her class on the "bug book", but her teacher kindly asked her not to bring "Amphigorey" back to the classroom anymore... hmmmm
