Kobe ..... The Good Teammate???

I object... on the grounds that your picture is too small.

Spoilered for mild language:

Choking implies that his was the better team, and they lost it because of nerves.

I think the problem is that the Lakers were never good enough; and the only reason these games have been close are because the Celtics get lazy and play down to their opponent's level.

Will any team lead by Kobe be good enough to win the championship?

I don't care if you are the "better team" or not. Matter of fact...the Lakers were favored going into this series. A 24 pt lead? At HOME? With the league MVP...the supposed "Air" to the throne? There is no other word but CHOKE, period.

Yup, kobe CHOKED. The lakers choked. The media will as usual, blame his teammates when something goes wrong. "They waited for him to take over" etc. But really, he choked as much as anyone else on the team. When LAMAR ODOM has bad games, they talk smack and say he is in a slump, he needs to play better. When kobe plays bad through out this series, he's just trying to set up his teammates or its teammates' fault. I don't know why there was any MJ comparisons. Kobe is not even close.

MJ has 6 finals MVP, 5 MVPS, 10 scoring titles, 75 NBA records.... there is no comparison.

Don't get me wrong, kobe is a good player. But MJ will never give up a 24 pt lead in the finals on his own home court. Just no way. No way MJ would be harassed into shooting 30% range 4 of the 5 games by the other team in the finals. Kobe is more like a Clyde Drexler, which is not all that bad.. but not MJ.

Just a few gems from MJ:

"He can't do anything with the ball. Don't give it to him." - Michael yelling at Paxson who passed the ball to Perdue

"You're an idiot. You've screwed up every play we ever ran. You're too stupid to even remember the plays. We ought to get rid of you." - Michael to Horace Grant

"They've got no idea what it's all about. The white guys, they work hard, but they don't have the talent. And the rest of them? Who knows what to expect? They're not good for much of anything."

"Your boy doesn't want to play. I'm tired of bailing his *** out." - Michael yelling at Jim Cleamons about Dennis Hopson

"He's causing me too many turnovers." - Michael on Cartwright's inability to catch

"I hate being out there with those garbagemen. They don't get you the ball."

"Why the hell don't you ever set a pick like that in a game?" - Michael yelling at Perdue after also hitting Perdue upside his head (led to the institution of the private curtain for practices)

The difference is - Michael didn't choke. :D

Besides, it's been said millions of times. MJ had that bristle out for everybody, all the time. Whether it was in a card game on team flights or in practice or in the middle of a game, he was ultra-competitive and trash talking his opponents and teammates alike. Kobe's been kind of aloof all these year so when he does "descend" among the mortals just to trash them, it has quite a different effect (and intention) to what MJ was doing.

Once again:

MJ - Did not choke.
Kobe - choked.

Lakers Laacluster Defense won't cut it.

The problems in this series is the Lakers refusal to play defense. I know Kobe is not finding good looks but why are Ray Allen & Pierce getting open
layups?

I fail to see the problem

My post wasn't about who did or did not choke. It was about what the topic of this thread was about...the little vid of Kobe shoving Rad.

Found this video on youtube and made a GIF.
It's Kobe and Sasha.

Absolutely, I am off topic here. It's just that I think we should all drop MJ-Kobe comparisions even if to show that MJ was also a douche.

I have never liked the Brave Little Soldier but I fail to see the problem here. He's showing passion, frustration, etc. - all things we want our "warriors" to show. I'll criticize Kobe at the drop of a hat or less, but this is IMHO the stereotypical mountain being created out of a shadow of a molehill.

Can't blame him Radmonovic is a horrible player, all he does is chuck threes make horrible fouls and his defense is atrocious
