well Kings allowed the Knicks to hang around and gain confidence and now it's going to be another game that's going to go down to the wire apparently.....meh

Marvin has been open in the post early in the clock this entire stretch and our guards have only gotten him the ball like twice.
He's not really setting up though. He did once and he got fouled on the play. They are running a lot of pick and roll with him. They need to clear a side. The Knicks went to the same Box and 1 the Kings ran against Houston. They are looking to shore up the middle. That Bogdan play at the side is a better call but getting the ball in beyond the pressure is the answer.

I think one of the things that gets overlooked about Buddy is that he's aggressive enough to throw the ball into the heart of the offense whereas a lot of our other guards play that super safe

If I'm Walton I consider putting Barnes back in to guard Randle. He is the best shot at guarding him one on one. The Kings let the Knicks get hot so doubling off of spot shooters might not cut it. It's a 50/50 call if they do.

It really is perplexing. I just don't get it. Bagley is right in his complaint that the Kings don't run anymore. Well, if you are going to be a control offensive team you can't ignore the post. This is another game that might be hung on the fact that they kept going to the same predictable sets over and over. How is it this hard to run a different play that goes to a different area of the floor?
