KingsFans.com un-official "WNBA Ten at 10" - #3

Well MBF, let me put it to you like this: I didn't put her there of my own accord... Cooper is the only one of the top three that wasn't in the top three on every voter's ballot... which is why she's "only" #3.

I knew that. I also have an idea who #1 and #2 are (apparently don't have a clue which order they will be ranked) I was just commenting that #3 is too low for Cooper compared to those two.

I'm pretty sure that anyone remotely knowledgeable about the WNBA has a pretty good idea who #1 and #2 are. Which is why, for the sake of preserving some sense of suspense and drama, I will be revealing #1 and #2 on the same day...

... Some time next week.

Another very nice writeup, Slim. I've learned quite a bit about the WNBA because of your outstanding presentations.

So, from this "casual" fan, thank you.

:)

Yes, another great job, Mr Slim. I figured who the top 3 would be. Now, if a certain Spark is not #2, thereby eliminating her from the #1 slot, I will be very disappointed. :p

I figured Cooper was a shoe-in for number one. From all the talk around the league, I thought she was a consensus number one. I can see the argument about how she isn't though. Interesting to see who actually is number one (between the two left).

You all have to keep in mind that this voting wasn't a consensus of all WNBA fans, or even of all the fans who post here, but the result of a select panel of a handful of esteemed posters to this forum. Some deviation from what WNBA fans at large may select should not be completely unexpected.

Even so, it is still surprising that Cooper was not #1 here too and apparently wasn't even a consensus top 3 among our voters. I'm not sure which surprised me more.

I'd probably be a tough sell on any argument that placed either of the two remaining players ahead of Cooper. If that wasn't already obvious ;)
