[6th]

Okay, the Kings will be on a very long (6 game) roadtrip in late Feb and early Mar. That is a very long time for Kings fans to be away from their Kings (at ARCO). So, it seems to me a perfect time to have a KingsFans.com get-together at a pizza place (or some other family friendly place where people can still have beer/wine.

It just so happens that I will be in Sacramento for 3 of those games and would LOVE to meet some fellow KingsFans.com members and enjoy watching a game.

I will talk to a few of my friends and decide the best time for the pizza party. BTW - I am talking about either Thur, 24 Feb, 6:30 (Mavs game); or, Sat, 26 Feb, 4:30 (76ers game); or, Sun, 27 Feb, 3:00 (Wizards game). PM me if you have a preference.

Now, there is an idea....and I like their pizza too. Can you find out whether the party room can be reserved and how large the party has to be, Freak? Any info on the place would be helpful.

Great idea. But if the Kings are not on TNT or ESPN we may not be able to watch the game from Round Table . There is a sports bar over on El Camino I think about 1/2 mile south of I-80 and 1/2 mile east of I-5. Family place great but we need to watch the Kings game, eh? I and spouse would enjoy coming up from Surf City.

yeah its a very long time for them to be away from ARCO...but on the other hand it gives i dunno a person like..........ME........a chance to FINALLY get to see the boys in the flesh when they play Boston on the 13th...which btw is one week from tomorrow....

but i do think your idea 6th is a wonderful one and one that seems like so much fun! I mean not many other teams fans would actually think to have a "get together."

i unfortunetly would not be able to attend cuz OFCOURSE im on the other coast...and will not be visting that area...but its too bad for all ya'll cuz you wouldn't want to miss this (points to self)...hehehe

A variety of good food, centrally located on Sunrise Blvd, close to Highway 50. Plus, I'm in good with the owner and can get us special treatment

hhmmmmm...... this does sound like a LOT of fun, but i live in the bay area. i have a car and all, but i'm not sure if i want to drive up just to meet at a pizza place. now if it was pizza before a game, then going to the game, oh hells yah i'm there. also, i don't know my way around sacramento.

Okay, The Freak. Thanks for checking on it. So far, we have 2 suggestions, both of which would work.

Round table by Arco seems like a good place to meet. Players is just to far for me. There's also a sport bar over in Elk Grove with a big tv screen and they have pretty good food and not just pizza.

Is there anything more central to Sacramento? We have north by ARCO, south to Elk Grove and East (Hwy 50) all the way out to Sunrise. We also have a request for Roseville, so that covers northeast (Hwy 80). We cannot possibly make everyone happy here. I may draw from a hat.

I know the Players that KG is referring to, having been there with her on occasion. They REALLY like Kings fans in there and they really like her. We would, most likely, be treated like the true royalty we are if we went there.
