Normally I would say that it would. However, in this case, Nicole Powell had such a horrendous season (by her standards) that it is certainly a possibility for her to be much much better. Part of the reason for that is that she was in Charlotte who had veterans at the 3 and she didn't really fit into their system. Now she will not have any real competition for the 3 slot because the Monarchs haven't been playing natural 3's in that position, but have played 4's there. These were 4's that had very little (if any) outside shot. Nicole has an outside shot and C Whiz really is looking for that. I think she will fit into our system and I think C Whiz will play her to her strengths. That could certainly give her a tremendous opportunity to improve immensely. I hope she comes through.

Yeah, very true. 6th explained my thinking though. She is definitely in a position now where she'll actually get to play, she's going from the bench to a starting position. Maybe she won't necessarily "improve" because she's always been talented, just now her stats are (hopefully) going to reflect her ability.
