lol you know better than to get your hopes up about the kings
Its the fan in me...i have to...then im sad..i was all prepared to lose this one and then artest makes it a 2 point game...and we still lose :(...oh well...beat the sonics

It's simply amazing how this team continues to dissapoint me... They make a turn, and then blow 2 EXTEMELY winnable games. Just plain blew it themselves... Just absolutely the most frustrating loss of this season... Chance to seperate from the Lakers, and they blow em... Just unbelievable...

well, that sucked...

at least the lakers lost so we're still up.

TOs killed us. I hate it when the game is pretty much over and then with a minute left, that's the only time they decide to play. :|

oh well, go kings!

I hope Boston slaughters LAL tomorrow! Let's go Celtics Let's go!

2.Redd Helps Bucks to reach .500

Comment:

And so are the rest of the Sacramento Kings to themselves.

I do thank the Lakers for losing so we can keep the 7th spot, but we REALLY need to get the next few games. BIG one against the Lakers on Wednesday.

My vote for the TDM award goes to... The Kings!!! Yes Sir! Nobody was more responsible for helping the Wolves to a win than the absolutely attrocious decision making of the Kings... Congratulations!

Im unable to watch the game, but what happened to Martin, is he hurt, why isn't he playing much???

RA decided that it would be a better idea to play the "missed layup king" instead of Martin.

I think I heard somewhere that the Lakers have 10 of their last 13 games at home.

I really want us to get some sort of a lead on them right now and avoid slipping towards the end of the season. We got tough road teams to handle (i.e. Dallas and SA on back-to-back nights  ). Our April schedule is a killer.

Hopefully we win on Wednesday and the Lakers go ona 4 game L streak ;)

My thoughts..... Win 5 then lose 2! Kings actually don't know how to INVEST for their future. Why you ask:

1. Don't know how to use bench (especially the new ones).

2. Pick the people in the draft that we don't really need! (e.g. Minard, Francisco although I'm not saying he's completely useless!)

3. Best draft we had are Martin (he's better than good or so-so he just needs time), Peja (he's o.k.), Wallace (whose idea exactly to give him away?)

4.They taught their opponents by using the same offense and lame defense over and over again (sorry Artest).

5. Let's get tough people! Trade useless bench for good (not talking about the best) players!

I'm not ranting or anything. I'm just pointing out something that I see what is wrong. I hope I don't get scolded for this. :(

Well let's see here... We'll start with two... Minard came in the second round, who do you think we are going to get in the second round? A good second rounder comes around once every few seasons... Now 3... Um... When you are a conistent 50 win team, you are drafting low... To get Martin and Garcia out of those drafts is a great draft! Garcia sure as hell isn't USELESS! And yes they drafted Peja and Wallace? What is so bad about those drafts? And part 5, who is going to take so called useless bench players for good players?

We lost Wallace to the expansion draft of the Bobcats.

Garcia absolutely isn't useless, he's been showing since late November he can play on both ends, bring a spark, and is consistent.

I'd say we have had a "tough" team since Artest got to Sac. Before, it was just Bonzi and SAR, and sometimes the team as a whole.

Horrible loss today... honestly thought we'd win this. Bring on Seattle, who are playing a bit better, since their trade guys have got there. Won't matter Tuesday night, Kings will go over them.

Scolded?

I don't understand your comments as they simply are not relevant at this point in time.

1. Don't know how to use the bench? What would you rather he do? Play Jason Hart and Jamal Sampson? Put Sergei and Vitaly in? Or maybe he should have played Cisco, even though the trainers said he wasn't ready to come back yet. Adelman used what he had...

2. Ricky Minard was a second round bottom of the barrel pick. We had to pick someone. Whom would you have picked instead?

3. This is just silly. What's the point?

4. They taught their opponents? Taught them what? I think the rest of the teams in the NBA already know basketball.

5. We cannot trade ANYONE right now. The trade deadline has passed.

You posted these comments in the Kings-Wolves game thread, so I'm guessing - and boy is it a reach - that you meant them to apply to today's game. I'm sorry, but they simply don't.

Today's problem in a nutshell was, as Jerry likes to say, "valuing the ball." They had nearly 30 bleeping turnovers. You are not going to win in the NBA with 30 bleeeping turnovers.

# 2 is funny. We had to pick somebody lol. imagine somebody just saying, naw we dont want anybody. we nearly had 30 turnovers and we only lost by what, 5? That says a LOT for the pups.

Here's what i noticed:

- Why was K9 on Garnett? He absolutely abused him down in the post, he scored a season-best 37 points. You think it'd be apparent after KG stuffed two dunks into Kenny's face Adelman would've made a switch. Reef played him decently, but if we had help in the middle from Miller this wouldn't be a problem.

- Miller like he always does, goes out on the screen to do a useless reach on the guard and got called for a foul. Seriously, what do you plan to do when you do that Miller? Not only are you asking for a reaching foul when he runs into your arm, you also leave the lane wide open on a pick and roll.

- Artest doesn't need to be firing 3-pointers with 1:15 left to go when they're in the penalty, and hasn't been shooting the ball well. Take it to the hole, draw the foul, and stop the clock. Adelman should've been stressing this during the timeout. Artest did a nice job of doing this around the 3 minute mark, and Bibby inside the last minute, but we didn't in the middle.

- 28 turnovers? Vs the TWolves? Wow...

I like to say it how I see it, and if you don't agree then you don't have to. A new coach could do a lot for pretty much everything I mentioned - the things that cost us the game. Could've been two up on the Lakers, but instead slide back into the 8th spot. I love the Kings, but man this is frustrating to watch.

your first point: Miller does that on all screens and he rarely picks up a foul. this is to allow Bibby to recover from the screen. If he didn't do that every guard we would play would have 50 points.

your second: Artest can hit them so I don't mind the shot. He should follow them because all his shots have long rebounds. If we are in the penalty, I would like them to drive, but if he hits those threes, you aren't complaining about the shot. So open threes are fine. Its the contested ones that bug me.

nice points..i agree..if we can get artest's shot back (if there is one) we are money. He is shooting very poorly since hes come to Sacto. (Hes shooting .401 which is tied for worst of his career with his rookie season).
