That is how we used to do things.
Golden state was 25th in the league at over -4 in rebounding diff. coming into tonights game, and they abused us all night... I thought we were a better rebounding team now??

Well, pretty much expected the Warriors to get this. And I don't care. :)

Time to beat Miami. Which I think we will, unless Shaq makes a surprise, early return just for Sac. ;)

So... one loss to a good Warriors team and the sky is falling again?

Lord...

Some of you would never have survived the early years of the Sacramento Kings.

Take a deep breath. Now exhale...

Repeat.

It doesnt matter if you put Ben Wallace on the Kings roster. Kings will always suck at rebounding and defense because of their style of play. ;)
LOL just imagine Wallace in the highpost trying to pass and shoot perimeter shots. :p

OR maybe the Kings sucks on rebounding tonight because they were primarily chasing down long flies instead of Bonzi being able to go inside and battle for the boards.

It's just one game. We're gonna have more losses. I'll take winning three out of every four for the rest of the year...

One game at a time. This team is NOT done growing yet.

Indeed.

Just move on from this... who knows how it'll be in the next 2-3 months.

Well I already got a good picture of the playoffs and the Kings are not included in it. I mean its just obvious that Golden State, Clippers, Memphis are all better then us. So the playoff picture would include Spurs, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, Memphis, Goldenstate, Clippers.

You're getting caught up in it way too early, me-thinks.

West is wide open aside from the Spurs. Will stay that way.

This was a frustrating loss because it was a complete microcosm of the same ol problems the Kings have had for a long time now.

No effort for 42 minutes, then turn it on too late.

I for one will vent about that every time it happens whether we're on a ten game winning streak or a 10 game losing streak.

Let's see a fired up Kings team vs Miami!

General NBA rule:

If Your team struggles shooting the ball - You want to play Kings

If Your team has problem rebounding - You want to play Kings

If Your team is desperate for a win (Knicks) - You can't wait to play Kings

It's still very early to panic and put the whole season to rest, but one thing is certain...the Kings bench sucks. 12 points from the bench tonight. I can only hope that behind closed doors GP is trying to work some kind of deal(s) to bolster the bench. Then again, we may have to wait until December 15, which is the first day that players who signed in the offseason can be traded. Nevertheless, something has to be done because the Bench Slobs aren't going to cut it.

You forgot to add:

If you're looking for a new career high - You want to play Kings

Man I hate these excuses the Kings come with for not rebounding. Long shots = long rebounds.

We have some bigs who aren't quite as skilled but they rot on our bench. Both Corliss and Skinner do things that win ball games but for some reason they don't play.....wonder what that reason is???

Sad as this sounds, I don't think either of the guys on the Kings' bench are equal to the GS starters...I actually like Murphy's skills, but am not so certain about Foyle's.

I would only caution that including Houston in that picture may be a tad premature at this point, considering that the Rockets are a team with a worse record than the Kings at this point.

Houston is good with tmac though.

WHy would anyone think about playoffs right now?! One month does not a season make!!!!

We are 5 games behind the first place San Antonio right now. No need to panic yet.

Wow, got our butts kicked on the boards tonight. Effort! I don't think I saw anyone go for a loose ball tonight.

Brad is a great passer, and a great player, but is the WORST big man defender in the league. You wonder why we get beat by athletic teams? Because, unfortunately, all the "great" big man passers are also usually the worst atheletes. Oh well.

No Skinner. I am not even mad about that. We know where Rick's bread is buttered. We had a much better paint clogger in Tag last year, don't be surprised Brian doesn't play.

Once again the Kings play great defense! Unforunately when the game is already out of hand. You can't pick up the D in the last 5 minutes of a game (rebounding is a big part of this issue) and expect to win a game.

This is the same problems that I have always loathed about Kings teams. They show they CAN play respectable D, but for some reason or another, they don't most of the time. They need the energy they show in the end of games for the whole game.

I just cant understand why teams like the Warriors have their best offensive game against the Kings. I mean i know we suck at defense but is it really that bad...

blah. i wish i could have gone to the game, hell even watched it on TV. i was rooting for em thats for sure, checking the score whenever possible.

stupid warriors, now i have to listen to rick barry talk out of his *** tommorrow about how good they are and how bad we are. shoot me now!
