Kings Vs. Utah Jazz (10-23-09, 7p.m.) Game thread

Dang.

There were punches thrown during the Lakers-Nuggets game, and I missed it.

GO NUGGETS!

AND KINGS!

EDIT: False alarm. The lousy SLC sports team exaggerated. Just a little shoving.
:-(

I have a question ... why are we sucking so much in this game

Back-to-back syndrome?

Just watched near brawl in Nuggets-Lakers game on ESPN from San Diego. The Birdman and Odom got into it and then enforcer Kenyon Martin stepped in as both benches emptied onto the court with coaches trying to keep sanity. Temporary refs looked like they might not be up to containing it but finally got all under control after few minutes delay.

we had problems with utah even at our peak. and until the sloans and harprings of the world go away...we always will. back-to-back or not. young and inexperienced or not.

What has surprised me is this guy Matthews for Utah - an undrafted walk-onwho not only is still on the team but at this point in the game is their leading scorer?!

Good news the real refs reached a deal with the NBA. So starting the regular season we will not have these replacment refs.

Seriously what is up with Spencer. He looked better than this as a rookie. Is he going to one of those guys with all the talent but, no work ethic? Thinks good in college is enough to get him through the NBA.

I hate to say this but Hawes is just haweful today. Missing free throws, chucking 3s.. what happened to our promising center

The good news is we're in a close game with Jazz without our leading scorer, Martin... The bad news is that Jazz don't have half of their team

Well I suppose we should be happy. They're playing with their main guys just no bench, we don't have our best player and garcia. And we're kinda in the game, would be a lot better if we made our free throws. So overall, not too shabby as a team effort
