That must be one of those things that I simply don't grok, because I've never lived longer than five consecutive years in any one spot. The idea that I would only follow a sport and/or only root for a team because they were "local" is an alien concept to me. I don't have any sense of "local" or "hometown."

Well,, you can see that I do. I obviously have not had your experience so
I have to go with mine - a lifetime in Sacramento.
