Our offensive rating is 1.2 points clear of second place for the highest in NBA history.

Let me repeat.

We are literally the most efficient offense in NBA history.
Sometimes I forget that this is their first year playing together. Just how? I have a feeling we may best the record again next year.

I went out for some take out, got it home game had closed up a bit, ate my delicious burrito (sorry it was not Italiano Vinny-B!) and came upstairs and we were winning. So I read all the sad posts on pages 4-7 or so with a smile in my heart. Will re-watch Q3 later tonight.

Mange mange mi amore! All food is actually Italian food since we literally invented eating. It's just that some is more Italian than others. :) Hope you enjoyed your mexican style italian food burrito.

Is this Chris Paul?

Hi Domas, James Ham, Kings Insider!
You know that, I'm like a celebrity on youtube and twitter.

Just wondering how it feels letting the team down by not recording a double double tonight and how will you and Mike Brown address that in the pre-game tomorrow?

One day Domas will miss triple-double by scoring 9 points...

Chris Paul has been the player I have disliked the most in my entire basketball watching “career” point blank. Whatever skills he has or had will forever be outshined by his antics and pettiness on the basketball court in my eyes. I genuinely hope he never sniffs a finals game again and I certainly hope he never wins a championship. Also, at his age, he may actually hurt himself by flopping like a fish all over the court. It would be sweet ironic bliss if that were to happen and my sympathies would be severely limited. What a clown.

I agreed. I never like players that flop and cheat to get every little advantage in foul calls rather than using their talents to win fair and square. Did you see him flop on that last play? Holy crap...luckily, the refs didn't call it. Marcus Smart is a similar player....those players deserved Oscar nominations for their acting. NBA should punish players for flopping...call it offensive foul or something and that will prevent them from flopping and cheating. The take foul work in the NBA...maybe they should implement something similar...one shot for acting.

I think for Kings to take to the next level...their defense will have to improve dramatically. It can't be just about consistency or inconsistency. I mean in order to beat teams with Giannis or Phoenix with KD or teams that are athletic with length...they will have to replace someone in the roster. It ain't going to be Fox or Sabonis. I doubt it's Murray...so it's either Huerter or Barnes or both. I think it's Barnes since he has max out his limit. Barnes is solid but he doesn't intimidate anybody...he's not as physical a defender as you would like to see...he doesn't have the length to block or change shot trajectory...his help defense leave a lot to desire. So if the Kings hope to improve its defense...that's the one position that they can go to...there is no way around it. The starting lineup is set with Fox Sabonis and Murray as the future imo. If they can find a tall lengthy athletic talented 2 way player...one that intimidate inside the paint, rebound, alter shots and shoot....it's a wrap. Barnes is not quite there although he met most of the checklists. The same can be said about Huerter....his defense can leave a lot to desire. No one question both for their offensive prowess...it's the defense. So if the Kings wish to improve the team defense, those are the positions they have to look into. It can be hard to replace sometimes because you do not want to ruin any sense of chemistry as a result.

Just watched the replay. What a job by the guys to get their crap together and get the victory, especially as the first half was not all that great. We showed out grit down the stretch to put the game away which is so far from what we did just last season to make it almost magical. Do need to tighten up a bit defensively, but I am sure that will come.

And yes, Paul has always been a bit of a prick and a whiner.

Yeah I agree that in order not to mess up a historic offense and somewhat improve the defense Barnes (even so his d is not nearly the worst on a starting unit)would be the logical choice to be replaced. Not saying we should or shouldn't do it, just that it would make most sense. But where do we find another JJJ or someone similar is a mystery
