Unfortunately that's common. Look at the Nets spending over $100M this year, but their record is horrible. Let's just be glad we have him on our team now.

With that said, if I ever hit the number, and buy into the WNBA, like I want to, I'm going to have a team with a "wave" theme (double meaning, of course, Hampton Roads' proximity to the ocean, combined with honoring the history of women who have served in the military), and fans will be encouraged to do the Wave at every game.

Hell, I'd even offer meal and/or merch vouchers to "bribe" fans to come to the games color-coded, and make the Wave extra disorienting.

Are you under the mistaken impression that Thompson is playing poorly tonight? Like I said earlier, he has been statistically irrelevant, but have you seen what Anthony Davis has done against him? Or, more importantly, what he hasn't done?
