Glad to see Tyrese take 3 shots there at the end of the half. Initially looked like it'd be another game where he's scared to shoot.

Hopefully Kings can start hitting shots in the 2nd half.

Indiana killing us with the pick and roll. We can't defend them on it whether we switch or not.

Buddy turning into a legit 3-and-D (emphasis on the D) guy is the most pleasant surprise of the season.

He's always been solid individually regardless of what most people think so when they really allow him to play tight on the ball you see his size, strength, and mobility shine. Year after year he's been forced to be the "tag" guy. Playing down off the 3 on help and once the offense breaks into the paint he looks like the biggest idiot because his job was to switch back out and challenge. They have Barnes doing that more this year and frankly, he's just simply better at it.

Overall, can't complain. The Kings are getting GREAT shots for the most part, but coming off a record breaking night from 3, they can't hit anything as the universe balances itself.

Yup. Like the way they're moving the ball. Just need more of those shots to fall - and stronger work on the boards. 10 steals keeping them in it. Pacers have 13 TO's.

All of our guards are playing way off of him for some reason though so I'm not sure if that's Fox's fault or a schematic issue.

You saw when Fox played back on the ball, tight, that he looked much better. He got beat one time but that's going to happen from time to time. Happens to Davion quite a bit too for those watching BTW.

Not Mitchell. Come on Kings. Play like Davion!

They had Mitchell playing off earlier and switching. The Kings played tighter as the Pacers were slicing them up from downtown on help. Thankfully the Pacers didn't hit a bunch of the open look either.

Fox just plays pretend defense sometimes. I've seen him just "play" at D, not getting hand up, like he's playing some school kids, not NBA professionals. I still haven't seen the 100% buy-in by Fox on defensive end.

McConnel blew past Davion on the first time Davion matched up with him. I mean, it’s not like McConnel is slow

Mitchell must have *at least* five excellent defensive plays in the first half. If he doesn't get on the All-Defense team this year then the people that vote on that don't have a freaking clue.

It's not about blowing past the guy. It's about "get your freaking hand up in the air" and stop fooling around.

I feel like the Fox isn't committed to defense thing and the Fox is too far off McConnell thing are two completely different worthwhile conversations that are getting put together for some reason.

I would be interested to see the amount of points the Kings have gotten out of that long *** pin down play. I'd bet...ZERO. lol.
