Kings vs Hawks - Summer League Game 5

I don't even want to watch these game anymore. Hard to judge your young talent when they are playing with bonafide scrubs, I don't think i've ever seen a worse summer league roster than this one. A McCallum pick and roll with Minerath will be worlds different with Cousins or JT. Ben proved what what we knew coming in, beautiful jumper, not good off the dribble, potentially solid defender with length and quickness, great athlete. Can't wait for Pre-Season to get a real view of these guys, and at least Ben and Ray now has 2 months to work on stuff, surely coach Malone will give feedback and instruction to our rooks.
 
I wont be able to watch the game but I doubt I will miss much :) At least we know now who has the upper hand in the battle to start at SG.

MT by a landslide. Can't wait for the REAL season to start! I think we can be a very good team.

And see, I'm not so sure there. McLemore has better defense than MT just by default. If Malone feels that McLemore is the better defending two-guard, even with his offensive limitations, he may run him out there in the starting five with Mbah a Moute to make sure to shut down opposing wing players. I'd be surprised if we weren't starting Vasquez at point and running IT in the second unit (assuming no trades).

Have u seen mclemore play defense in summer league?? His awareness is at zero...
 
I'm interested in seeing Schröeder. I'll still pay attention to McLemore, because shooting should generally translate.
 
Ray could have had two assists now, two looks to McLemore for good shots - no need to complain about his inability to dish
 
watch schroeder and watch bmac...tell me u cant tell who the better basketball player is? summer league or aau it dont matter u can watch and see...and again rmac will not pass on a fast break ever ...even to alley bmac...

These bigs have no clue how the operate a PnR. Such horrible position from Aiken which allowed them to double McLemore and forced the turnover.
