Anyone picking on Lyles probably doesnt have a very good understanding of;

1) how little we pay him
2) how much insurance he provides to us incase of a sabonis injury

Lyles is an outstanding depth piece and we pay him virtually nothing. I'm just not sure he's a top 8 guy on a playoff rotation.

But hey, if any of this play from the last month or so is sticky.... he's absolutely quality enough to nail down that spot

my son and I jokingly call him the best player in the league, he is really good honestly , always goes hard and puts the ball on the deck when other team is in the penalty.

I’m starting to think he is. He can hit the three, rebounds, occasionally plays great d, is unselfish and has good chemistry with his teammates. I’m thinking the upgrade might be better invested elsewhere
