We could really be in a great position with the road trip coming up. A bunch of winnable games we just need some more defensive intensity and we know our coaches are preaching that right now. Good game last night and I had to hit the sack around midnight here in Ohio as I had to be up early so I missed that epic 4th.
7 of our next 8 games are against opponents are below .500 as of today. We have a 7-game road trip which is always tough but we're currently 11-9 on the road and three of those games are against teams in the mega-tank (SAS and HOU). Knocking on wood but I don't think it's unreasonable we go 6-2 overall and 5-2 on the road trip which would be pretty great (and thanks to the scheduling gods for making our longest road trip a relatively forgiving one)
Also there's good odds match our win total from last year by February 1st which is neat
Slightly different take…Malik was giving Sabonis a hard time because he missed a bunny that would have given Malik his career high for assists. Whatever was happening was all in good fun.
Steven Adams is out for a few weeks with strained PCL. He is a large part of the rebounding for the Grizzlies and generates many second chance points. Time is ripe for the Kings to make a move to the #2 seed.
