[Game] Kings vs Clippers, 11/8/2024 7pm PST 10pm EST

Norm Powell is probably the Clippers’ best player right now. Take that for what you will.
Zubac is having a great season.
Derrick Jones Jr has been a really good role player for them on the wing.
Clippers defensive coordinator Jeff Van Gundy has them playing some really tight defense despite having to play James Harden 35 minutes a night. But I’m not sure that the defense matters much when the ball‘s in Deebo’s hands in the 4th quarter.

This probably won’t be an easy game by any means but I have a steadfast, growing belief in this Kings squad and, if anything else, we get to see Deebo cook one of the teams that he spurned to sign with us, the Sacramento Freaking Kings.

Final Prediction
Deebo drops another 25+ night. Domas drops a double-double. Keegan hits some threes and plays lockdown D. Foxy carries us through the third quarter. The bench doesn’t totally puke all over itself. There is another 10+ post heated discussion over whether Kevin Huerter should start over Keon or not. We light the beam

I went for LIGHT THE BEAM!

We're not perfect, and I've been harping on our three-point defense, and we have those moments where we just look ugly. But we are literally 9 points from being 8-0, DeMar looks to be as good as I expected (if not better), and we can hit free throws again.

This next stretch of five games is tough, with two against Phoenix and another against Minny, so if we come through that looking good, I think we'll have a lot of reason to feel great about this team.

Surely we can get Robert Williams from Portland without giving up anyone significant. They're not even playing him! He's a healthy DNP-CD at this point. On the other hand, we probably won't be able to play him either because he'll be injured stepping off the plane...

I'm still holding out hope for Monte to find The Missing Piece at some point this season, whoever that turns out to be. We're so close to being a top 10 offense and defense that I'm already thinking dangerous thoughts about multiple playoff series in 2025.

@Tetsujin do you still have the bouncy Fox meme on hand? Haven't seen that one in awhile and the time feels right for it to make an appearance. I'd post it myself if I knew where it came from.

Jokes aside, Coffee is the guy to slow down off the bench. He drives aggressively and has been shooting well. Can’t let him go off for 25. As Tetsu mentioned. Norm has been playing incredibly well and shooting insane percentages. He also is the worst type of foul merchant, spazzing his way to the line 500 times. Harden can make 10 threes in a row so watch out for that.

I would disagree, though my reasoning is not strictly color related - I think teams should wear their most aesthetically pleasing uniforms at home; to me the white uniforms are almost never the most aesthetically pleasing.
