Since when is calling out one of the league's top scorers for scoring 1 point in the first half "bashing" and "tear[ing] him down"? Jesus, have some perspective. If Lebron, Durant, or Curry goes 0-10 they'd be getting criticized too.

That's because the Spurs are taking away him driving or spinning to the baseline. It's a smart strategy from a smart coach with a good defensive team.
I would say that part of the problem is we're running a dribble drive offense with half a roster that can't dribble well or pass off the dribble well. But that's an important skill regardless of "dribble-drive" or not. You want ball movement you need to have good floor spacers and guys who can pass off the dribble. Either that or have good finishers off pick n roll or pop. When Marco is playing this badly, and KK isn't making easy shots around the rim you pretty much have no chance regardless of whatever brilliant offensive system you can come up with.

so Karl really decided to throw out there Rondo, DC and Curry? yuck...where was Acy? he at least brought energy, what about Trill? he missed his usual once a game assignment and got yanked out of the game. Spurs playing Cousins perfectly...he isn't going to do much in the second half either unless he starts pinning his man in the post more, the jump shot is not falling.

All the missed layups seem to be from the King's hurrying their shots. They are intimidated by the Spurs' defense.

I would like to just see a little better effort grabbing the rebounds and loose balls that seem to slip through our fingers a little to easily.

Didn't Davis only score 9 points after his 59 point performance? he did have 20 rebounds at least.

the Spurs just quietly go about their business, they haven't played spectacular by any means in that first half, I don't think Duncan even scored, they're missing Ginobili and Leonard missed a ton of shots he usually makes, yet have their defense be their calling card and daring any other King beside 15 to beat them.
