With Bobby bringing the ball up and passing to Webber, the defense collapses in on a moving Pedja. Good looking play and one they should use more. Pedja made about three laps of the half-court which got Darius free - Webber passed inside and Darius was able to simply lean up and put the ball in. NICE team-work!!
 
Pacers ball to start the second quarter. Darius called for foul. Non-shooting. Still Pacers ball. oob off Pacers; Kings ball. Crowd not happy... I'm happy. ;)

Kings ball. Bibby to Webber to Pedja, inside to Darius who misses; gets his board but then has ball knocked away.

Another Kings turnover... the turnovers are more in the line of "oops, this ball is too slippery" type stuff than just bad passes, etc.

Quick time out by the Pacers.
 
Kings ball. Darius tries to pass to Pedja, ball bounces off Pacer but DArius recovers. Long shot by Bobby misses.

Pacers shot for two while Bobby argues...

Croshere miss; board tipped out. Pedja non-shooting foul - still Pacers ball.

bobby has the ball. Three Kings open - Bobby dribbles and dribbles and loses the ball.

Pacers call timeout and commercial.

I only have one complaint about Bobby J - he HAS to look around more and be willing to get the ball to the open man. Pedja was wide open as was Darius.

Brad to Bibby - Bibby starts to shoot, changes his mind and starts to pass to Brad but hits him in the back. Loose ball foul on the Kings. Pacers ball.

Note: As I mentioned above, if I get one of the Pacer names wrong it's because the stupid music they're playing (you know, stir the crowd stuff) is so loud I can't always hear Grant when he names the Pacer player and I have to admit I don't know all these guys by sight.
 
Conseco is every bit as quiet as Arco has been at times recently so it's not just the Kings crowd. If anything, I would think Pacer fans would be cheering loudly to encourage these guys...

Brad shot short; miss. Kings get the board. Pedja for corner three, misses as it catches the edge of the backboard.

Pacers with a turnover. Pedja wide-open three miss; Brad board. Bobby wide-open three miss; Webber called for push-off foul on the board.

Jones at the line for the Pacers.

Horrible possession for the Kings. Bad spacing, ugly play. Pedja finally cuts inside - Webber passes in, Pedja for two.

First half impressions:

BLECH!!!

Sloppy ball handling, poor team movement off the ball, lack of focus, and some dumb mistakes. I'm thinking this is NOT how they'll play the second half.

I totally agree. I have never seen Bibby handle the ball like this. I think there is butter on the Pacer's net, so every time they score, Bibby gets a greasy ball. ;)

RA will make some adjustments at half-time.
 
Thanks, VF!! I found the game on Fox Alt 2, so I am heading to chat. Somebody has to keep those kids in line. ;)
