I cannot remember the last time I have enjoyed sharing a game experience with my Kingsfans family this much. This is what it used to be like, and I cannot help but feel good about the future.
Gushing? Oh, hell yes. Just deal with it.
It's games like these that makes it worth while to be a fan even through the tough times. It's performances like the one we just witnessed right before our very own eyes that makes a fanbase smile and say "Things are looking up." I am going to repeat something I said on this forum before even the start of preseason, something I have said to all of my friends, and something I stand by even today. As long as we see progress on the court by means of effort, I will be proud. We don't have to win many games, but as long as the team sticks around and shows signs of improvement over the span of the regular season, we can go 0-82 and I will still be a satisfied Kings fan.
I repeat the same sentiments all of you (well, most of you) have been pounding out night after night on this board.......

Our turnovers actually haven't been a huge issue until recently, and a lot of them unforced as well.
And I'm enjoying this win, my first post after the game was saying how much fun it was.
We played a hell of a game on defense, but offensively there was much to be desired. I want us to get better so we can be a little more consistent, sorry if I offended you....

You didn't offend. What you're doing is pissing on our celebratory bonfire. And, quite honestly, I don't understand why.
Embrace the joy of tonight. WE BEAT THE FREAKING HEAT. It wasn't perfect but it's a nice W against a bunch of smug arrogant guys who thought they could sit Allen, Wade and Anderson and still beat us.
I would love nothing more than to treat my daughter to a playoff game on her birthday (June 3) at least once.
