The post-game tribute took my breath away, and made me laugh and cry. Damn it, fellow Kings fans. This is our team. We have earned the right to keep them over 28 years of joy and sorrow. We earned it with Chris Webber and Vlade Divac and Bobby Hurley and Reggie Theus and Doug Christie and L-Train And Corliss Williamson and Lawrence Funderburke and Gary Ainge and all the other guys who wore the jersey with the name of Sacramento on the front.

If there is any justice in the universe, we have not seen our last Sacramento Kings game.
