Thornton hasn't looked like his old self so far this season, and I think that isn't so bad. His passing has been really good. Once his shot starts falling again he will look like the scorer we know he can be.

You're forgetting about short or off the back of the rim. Short means you're tired, and off the back of the rim can me too pumped up. Off to one side or the other is odd to see from a good shooter.
