I'm not watching the game but I was reading the thread and this stuff bugs me.

Willie WAS starting to put some of the pieces together. A mid range jumper here and there, that crazy gliding left-handed take to the hoop, blocking a shot on one end and running for the dunk on the other, getting easy dish offs for dunks, etc he was looking more comfortable but still having some rookie lapses.

Not firing Karl may have saved the franchise money but it has also likely stunted Cauley-Stein's growth and soured the locker room/team chemistry further.

Here's a bit of education spurred on by people calling Karl senile. I doubt it. Heck there are a bunch of us on the forum older than he is. Karl's problem is that he APPEARS senile which in the hearts of the players amounts to the same thing. How could he inspire anyone to do anything? His speech pattern is part of the problem also. I think his mouth is dry and maybe he has a bridge. That's why he seems to have to wind up his mouth before he speaks. Perception is reality. The perception is that he is a senile old dolt.

We are watching a 10 parter called The Straits which is a bit like the Sopranoes except between Australia and Papua New Guinia. (sp?)

There is another 10 parter calle "30 degrees i Februari" or something like that. It's Swedish so most is closed captioned. I'm a tad Scandinavian so I liked it. Swedes spend a lot of time in Thailand so the show is mainly in Thailand. I loved it.

What the hell is Butler doing in this game? I love it. Maybe I should watch.

Seeing Butler out there reminds me of a phrase I've had running through my brain: F*** Karl!

I'm not entirely sure Caron not playing has been entirely on Karl, until recently. He disappeared immediately after going to Vlade and asking for a trade. My read on that is that it was by mutual agreement, possibly to avoid injury. Well, he's old, and nobody wanted him I guess, so it may have only been since the trade deadline passed that he was really available again, waiting for some injuries.
